The sterile single use CMA 60 Microdialysis Catheter is designed and approved for microdialysis in adipose tissue and resting skeletal muscle. The CMA 60 Microdialysis Catheter has been especially developed to achieve excellent diffusion characteristics. The dialyzing membrane has a length of 30 mm.
Insertion into the tissue is easily achieved with the help of a unique slit cannula introducer
that leaves the catheter in place when withdrawn. The catheter can be implanted for several days.
The catheter inlet tubing is connected to a CMA Microdialysis Pump and the outlet ends in a microvial which collects the sample. The samples can be analyzed in the CMA Microdialysis Analyzer for Glucose, Lactate, Pyruvate, Glycerol, Glutamate and Urea or sent to the laboratory for further investigations.
